Affinity 1.9 on windows 10.  When trying to File - Export as jpeg, only save option is affinity file type. Always allowed to export as jpeg in previous versions.  Exporting as other file types are fine.  Only workaround I have managed is to go to the export persona and export as a slice.  Very long winded solution. Can anyone help with this please.

I am going to guess you are on windows and the actual export is in fact a jpeg but is showing in your widows system as an Affinity openable file or an Affinity created file. I don't know enough about windows OS but is there an option to show the file extensions? Turn that on.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.2
Affinity Designer 2.3.1 | Affinity Photo 2.3.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.3.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

That's a bug in the JPG Export panel UI which should now be fixed in a APh customers beta ...

Fixed JPEG and TIFF filter descriptions (was "Affinity Files")   --> 1.9.1.943 release notes

which is now superseded by a newer beta version ...

It does actually save as JPEG.

Presumably us non-beta types should await a 'proper' update?

Makes sense, you can wait for an official v1.9.1 update release.
