Freddie360
Did as you asked, negative result. Tried deleting the palette and opening again, moved it to various locations and redocked and negative again. Is this a general problem with Affinity/Big Sur or a problem across the OS spectrum. I sometimes have to click twice on an Adjustment preset for the slider panel to pop out, or after it has, click a second time on a preset for it to be applied. However, it always works on either the first or second click, so it sounds like your problem is different. Freddie360
MEB - This morning I tried moving the Adjustment palette again, this time I left it docked to the left of the working area and it seems to be working. As a right handed person its not what I would choose, but it will do until Affinity fixes the problem - see attachment. Thanks again. ClearWood
It is a matter of personal preference. I like the former slders, which you correctly point out, do come up after you click on one of the "presets." It feels like another step (whether it is or not) and a waste/clutter of screen space. I just seems unnecessary.

How is it a waste of screen space? The old behavior also opened the slider adjustment window. Perhaps because double-clicking opened the adjustment category, created the adjustmemt, and closed the category again? I am not sure we are talking about the same thing. AFAIK, it used to be necessary to open an Adjustment category to see any of its presets, & then clicking on any of them would open the appropriate Adjustment panel with its sliders in its own window. Thus, just like now, the window with the sliders opens & uses screen space.
