Publos Posted February 10, 2021 Share Posted February 10, 2021 This isn't quite a problem, but I've noticed that my files vary quite a bit between saves. This is a screenshot of my dropbox, showing the range. Throughout these saves, I was mostly modifying text styles rather than doing large changes, so I can't imagine why the file sizes would vary this much. GarryP Posted February 10, 2021 Share Posted February 10, 2021 As I understand it, at a very simple level, the Affinity applications organise things inside the files to optimise the content according to some internal procedure. This process includes storing temporarily-rasterised versions of one or more layers, alongside the originals, so that they can be displayed more quickly in some circumstances, those circumstances changing when you edit the document. We users have no real control over this process so there's nothing much we can do about it.
