Just downloaded yesterday and I'm creating my first document. I copied text from a Word document and pasted it into the Publisher document. The text flows well through many text boxes. My document has five rows of three text boxes each, and every other row is grouped and rotated 180 degrees. Everything looks great on the screen. When I print to my Epson 7840, the rotated text (Gill Sans 8pt) looks great; however, the rest of the text looks like the kerning has been adjusted to scrunch up the words and it looks terrible. I've tried editing the text style, but that doesn't seem to help. Any ideas? (Sample attached)

Hi and welcome to the forums @Ann Stephens,

I think what has happened is you have selected the text frames and applied a scaling factor to the characters. Hard to tell without the Publisher document.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I checked my document and that's not the problem. The font is a free version of Gill Sans. Maybe I'll try another font and see if that's the problem. Thanks for taking the time to answer!

I uploaded the files as requested, Jon. I ended up going with a different font (Myriad Pro) that worked just fine. It'd be nice to know if there's hope for ever using Gill Sans in a future document, though! Thanks for taking the time. Ann
