The publisher resizes an image in a frame after I edit the linked original.
Often I still have to edit an image after it is inserted in the publisher. I don't mean changes in size, but changes in color or the removal of scratches or dust particles in scanned photos. So far, since I'm linking the image, I've been able to edit the original file and the changes have been applied.
Since version 1.9, however, the position and size of the picture in the frame have changed. Now I have to note down manually the coordinates and latitude and longitude and then enter them after again.
Is this a bug or a feature?

Hi @Nashorn,

My sincerest apologies for the delayed response here!

I can confirm this is a known bug in Publisher 1.9 and has been fixed in our latest beta, version 1.9.1 - we hope to be releasing these betas to the public shortly if you do not wish to use a beta - but if you would like to test this version, you can find these available for download from the below linked section of the forums -

https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/62-affinity-publisher-beta-forums/

I hope this helps, many thanks for your report :)

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
