ashf
Would be nice if you could add toggle key to switch between brush and eraser. (not B/E but single key to switch) I was asked this functionality from artists who use Affinity as painting tool many times. telemax

You have to adapt the keyboard shortcuts for Photo >> Tools. But there are several tools assigned to key B and E, so you have to reduce them to Paint Brush and Erase Brush Tool only to get a toggle (I think, never tested completely). I see, that's how the same shortcut works for multiple tool. One thing I wish is that if there's a way to keep original key(B/E) and assign independent shortcut. telemax
+1 This could be with Ctrl pressed. Like in the Pixel Tool, right? I meant not a modifier(only while holding the key) but a switch(means you can release the key)

I really like the hold-CTRL function to erase. It's a must for me, and it doesn't exist in any other painting program I tested before. But it's limited to the pixel brush, I hope they update this to make it possible to use it with the Brush tool (not only the Pixel tool) telemax
