Eric Yu
Hi, I don't know if anyone is having the same issue as I do or not. I do a lot of sketch before scanned into image then convert to vector file, so most of time I would delete image to release drive storage. With affinity-designer-1.9.0, (desktop and ipad) I have experience image source issue import image to affinity-designer-1.9.0 ==> save affinity file ==> close affinity file ==> delete images from drive ==> open same affinity file ==> all image become blur and "missing resource (s) some of your linked resource files are missing. would you like to locate them " message show up So I have to curve every images before saving affinity file and delete image resources. This issue did not happen in previous affinity designer version and it's really unfriendly to user. Can developer fix this issue? thanks
Staff DWright Posted February 21, 2021 Staff Share Posted February 21, 2021 @Eric Yu Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums This is happening due to your images being linked to your document so when they are deleted the document is unable to find them when reopened, to prevent this from happing when inserting the image select the Embed picture option in the open dialogue window or using the Resource manager before you save the document.
