Issues WIth new update 1.9.0.932

Good Morning,

I am running Affinity using Intel core i7-7500U CPU @2.70GHz 2.90GHZ with 12GB RAM on windows 10.

I have just updated to 1.9 and as soon as I restarted the computer and began working with Affinity Photo again the lag while drawing was so slow that when I laid a pencil line down I would need to wait about 5-10 seconds for it to show. After a few minutes of drawing the program would then freeze and show the 'working cycle' as if it was loading, then crash and close down completely.

I did some research and tried Ctrl at the beginning of loading up affinity. I did a reset but this also hasn't helped. I then cleared Temp files however again this hasn't helped.

I then closed down my file and opened up a new smaller Canvas thinking that it was too much for the computer to handle, however it continues and freezes and crashes.

Is it possible to revert back to 1.8 or do you have another option.

I love Affinity and always recommend it. Please help if possible.

Kind regards
