I might make it show that Cat shape at random on Friday 13th ;)

Then we have to wait until Friday the 13th Aug 2021before there is some chance for a possible showup, or for those in a hurry tweaking the system clock accordingly. - What's about some hidden secret shortcut key to toggle between all those so far used cat shapes? 😉

Maybe a separate section in My Account, just to be sure we are all on our toes (oops -- paws).

Except that @v_kyr is still up the creek without a paddle.  The new original cat file is apparently created on v 1.9.  It won't open in my . 1.8..4.  Good thing I have a new MacBook Pro with v 1.9.  KNEW I bought it for a good reason!

But it opens here without a paddle in a kayak on an old creek named El Capitan. 😉

I am keeping my eventually-to-become creaky Mac paddling along with 1.8.4, just in case I am up the creek while wading through something vital to my joie de vivre.  The MacBook is for whizzing through new stuff.  (Always possible to save as a PDF.)

I separate hardware here between private and work usage. - On the MacbookPro for work I've use a much more modern MacOS version, but that machine is mainly for pure company business development tasks and thus first of all running only dev tools and the like (databases, app servers, IDEs, docker ... etc.), so I don't use it for running image or vector apps.

Good move!  I am keeping my two machines separated for the same kind of reason.  The Mac has my books safely on it.  The MacBook is for fun and fiddling.   (Although I am currently finding my Affinity cat assets -- versions 2 and 3, in the depths of my Mac.)  Air Drop to the rescue!!

Well, in case you won't find or lost them, the Affinity team will have VCS (git based or whatever) repositories and associated backups. So they can checkout out older once pushed project related assets whenever again needed and provide them. - So if you can't find something Affinity apps related locally on your side here (aka possible urgent needed cat assets) just ask them for help!

Rats.  tried to make an assets file and it won't post.

Got it, and saw that the icon cat shape - the hind legs part - aren't much rounded at one place.

Odd.  Here is what I have.  Which cat?  Also, shall I download the assets file again, in case anybody wants it?  Or just give it a pass?

It's initially as default like this, but looks strange ...

... the opposite from the marked bottom side too.

Well here he is, squared off bum included, in the file I downloaded from @MattP's post.  I didn't think I should fiddle with a masterpiece!
