First let me say I am grateful for the new feature that allows me to access my account and download content (brushes, etc) from inside the program.

What I don't understand is why I need to download inside each program. I would have thought that once it was downloaded once it would be identified as downloaded in each related program.

And why can I not download and install all the content I've purchased? Some of it still has to be downloaded and installed from the website.

That being said I am looking forward to exploring the program more and more and look forward to trying the new features as well.

Keep up the good work!!!

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

The applications have never shared any content data (brushes, assets, etc.), and this new function does not change that. Perhaps someday...

The function can only download content that has a defined location (directory, file) to be installed into. The application knows where its assets and brushes and styles live, so it can download and install those. However, it has no idea where you might want to download a JPG or TIFF overlay file that will reside outside the program. So for those you need to perform the download manually, so you can tell the program where you want to put it.
