Pages that turn all the time.. Kinda Annoying....

Recommended Posts

I really love the new 1.9 features, but one is a lot annoying...,  when you zoom and unzoom with the mouse wheel or pad on Apple mouse, you have to hold the Option button. But if you accidently press Command instead, the pages will turn. It happened about 5 times today. It's very annoying!  Apple mouse has a very sensible pad, so if i Command save and touch the mouse at the sane time, the pages will turn again. So please make this feature using something else than the Command button. A good idea would be to use 2 buttons at the same time.

I really love 1-9 also but also ran into the page rotation problem.

It’s a rather cool feature but it needs the ability to “Lock Rotation”.

Maybe all it needs is to under the “View>Rotation” menu add “Lock Rotation” which simply allows you the option to use, or not use, rotation.

Also, many times when I have pages zoomed to the width or so of my 27 inch iMac I would love to have a way to lock the horizontal scrolling such that only vertical scrolling is enabled while working. This would prevent the pages from sliding partially off the view when you accidentally glide you finger side to side on the mouse.

As Jeremy has mentioned above, under Preferences > Tools you can disable this rotate option if you don't require it :)
