"Scale with object" isn't working

The curve strokes are not scaling with object as you can see from the gap between the numerous horizontal lines closing

Mods please delete. It's my fault, I needed to click the checkbox for all children all the way down. I was expecting it to cascade down.

It doesn't; that's why scale with object would be a better default setting in the software itself than not (as now). There is no way to add the setting to sublayers quickly if scaling for some reason is not activated.

Exactly - I've been grumbling about this since 2014 - at least now (or in a few weeks when it's safe to update to 1.9) we have select object - curves - and switch scale with object on for strokes and fx - which does work - but surely this is an arse over tit way of going about it - when I design a logo or whatever I expect it to scale by default, although the option to turn off scaling may come in handy at some point
