SoulSurfer
Hi there. I used to see a different pointer when placing a file into an image after selecting. Now the pointer remains the same so I am not even sure until I drag out the image.Any ideas what happened? Is this a change in the UI/UX (User Interface/Experience)? Jorge Rocafort
Same here! In Publisher and Designer 1.9, no place tool icon, just the pointer. Placing an image works but pointer icon stays there. OS Mojave iMac 27” 2019 Thanks. Edited February 5, 2021 by Jorge Rocafort
Jowday
It must be a Mac issue. At least I get the 'Down in the toilet icon' on Windows. Dan C
Hi @SoulSurfer & welcome to the Affinity forums @Jorge Rocafort, My apologies for the delayed response here. I can confirm we've identified visual issues with cursor icons for certain tools on Mac, including the Place Image tool. This issue is logged with our developers and will hopefully be fixed in our next beta version, please keep an eye on the beta section of our forums for an upcoming beta patch. Many thanks for your report SoulSurfer
