Hildy Posted February 4, 2021 Share Posted February 4, 2021 I'm running macOS Beta, so I'm on 11.2, because I was getting constant Kernel panics (unrelated to Affinity software) under 11.1. I purchased Affinity Designer through the Mac App Store and Affinity Publisher through Affinity directly. I was able to update Affinity Designer to 1.9 via the App Store without issue, but when I try to update Publisher through the app it crashes shortly after downloading the installer. Hildy Posted February 4, 2021 Author Share Posted February 4, 2021 Hey, @SPaceBar, thanks for the quick response. So it turns out there was a beta update for macOS that I hadn't installed yet. I ran that software update and then retried and Publisher was able to update. Whether the MacOS update was responsible or something just shook loose on the restart, it's working now.
