bounced out when I try to open a CR3 file (split)

I've only just downloaded 1.9 so haven't tried to do much with it.  The problem that I have is with CR3 files from my Canon R5 (set on CRAW). Any attempt to open the files either from my laptop or SD card immediately closes Affinity down.  I have not so far identified an issue with CR2 files from my Canon 80D.

As requested, I attach one of the files that I have tried today.

I believe CRAW is still a problem for libraw - is uncompressed RAW a problem too?  fwiw, on my Win 10 system AP v1.8 says your file is unsupported, while 1.9 closes immediately.

I've seen countless references to this issue on various websites.  Resolution of the problem doesn't seem to be imminent. It was particularly disappointing to find this wasn't part of the latest update.

I convert raw files to tiffs to process in Affinity
