Ken Hjulstrom
Hi, In Publisher, I'm trying to set up a text frame with stroked text on a page with a colored background, and I've set up the colored page background by creating a layer containing a colored rectangle. I've been having problems changing the color of the stroked text (both the font color as well as the stroke color, so I finally copied the text frame to a new Publisher document, where I discovered that the colored rectangle layer underneath the text appears to be removing the stroke from the overlaid text and changing the font color. As far as I can determine, both layers have 100% opacity, so I wouldn't expect any side effects of the rectangle color on the text, except to color the null "fill" of the text box. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong here? The investigative document and an exported JPG are attached. Thanks, Ken StrokedTextOverColoredRectangle.afpub

Ken Hjulstrom
Hi Lagarto, You are exactly right, thank you! I have no idea how the blend mode was changed, especially when I opened a new document and the same thing happened, but I switched the blend mode back to "Normal", and things returned to...normal! Thanks again, Ken
