Color Picker While Drawing

Recommended Posts

When I am drawing with my Apple Pencil in pixel persona the color picker keeps getting triggered from resting my hand on the iPad and turning my strokes white since most of the canvas is already white. How do I prevent this? I already have touch for gestures only turned on. My only work around for now is to hover the palm of my hand over the iPad. This is not a viable solution as the quality of my drawings becomes garbage without any steadying of my hand.

Hi @RedBeard,

My sincerest apologies for the delayed response here!

I have tried replicating this here a few times using Affinity Designer version 1.9 - which was released after your post here and unfortunately I've been so far unable to replicate this behaviour. Have you tried this latest version, and have you noticed the behaviour to be any different for you?

Have you considered an 'artist glove'? Many users will use these with touch sensitive devices to ensure their fingers don't activate the touch feature. This is more of a suggestion than a recommended 'fix' :)

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
