ChrisPubl
Hi, I can't figure out how to change an artistic text frame to a "normal" text frame. For example, once the artistic text frame is set, I don't see how to change the border spacing, which is easy to do with a text frame. Or is there no way to change the artistic text once selected into a more editable text frame? I'm sure I'm overlooking something ... You must copy the text, create your text frame, and paste. 10 minutes ago, ChrisPubl said: For example, once the artistic text frame is set, I don't see how to change the border spacing, which is easy to do with a text frame. I'm not sure I know what you mean by border spacing. But you can certainly move your artistic text using the Move Tool, if that helps. ChrisPubl
sorry border spacing is misleading. What I ment are "inset values" Ok Walt I understand that I'm not overlooking something, transferring these text frames seems not to be possible. walt.farrell
Thanks for the clarification. No, you can't convert. You need to consider which you need, based on their characteristics, before creating the text. And if you change your mind it's time for copy/paste. The ability to convert had been requested by others.
