Kate Downham
The printer I'm using (IngramSpark) won't accept a double page spread PDF, so I am going to have to change my Affinity Publisher file into a single page spread. I'd like to set the bleed so it's on 3 edges, but not the gutter edge, and I can't figure out how to set this without making it a double page spread. Does anyone here know how to do this? Will adding .125" to the document size on 3 sides do the same thing? Or does it have to be set as a bleed? I am using Affinity Publisher 1.8.3 on a Mac. RNKLN
Hi Kate, I had exactly the same problem less than twelve hours ago. For me the solution was to export All Pages rather than All Spreads (option when exporting to PDF). It will generate a PDF with one page per page rather then one page per spreadI think it was suggested in one of the Affinity forums, so you could do a search for more info. Kate Downham
Thank you!!! Your answer has saved me a huge amount of time and effort. If this works for me then I will pass this on to IngramSpark so that hopefully they can give the next person a better answer than they gave me when this happens.
