Nordic shortcuts

Hi

 

I'm a Dane trying out affinity. My problem is:

 

our keyboards look different from the US keyboard (see attachment). We have three additional letters. I have found US shortcuts list and most of them works perfectly. BUT the increase/decrease brush size doesn't work as our three additional letters is placed where the shortcut should be. Is there another shortcut I can use? Or can I make my own shortcut?

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

We already introduced Custom Shortcuts (first phase) in the latest Photo Customer Beta (1.3.5.2) which you can get from here. This will be implemented in the next Mac App Store (MAS) update too. If you don't want to wait for it you can install the Beta along the MAS version. They don't interfere each other. Just remember to keep the Mac App Store version installed if you want to run the Beta (otherwise it will not run).

 

You can customise the shortcuts in Affinity Designer/Photo ▸ Preferences, Keyboard Shortcuts section. Click on the second dropdown and select Paint Brush Tool or Blemish Removal Tool and change them there.

We will be adding more for other tools as we move forward.

In addition to that you can install english keyboard and switch to that when you use Affinity.
