no response from reveal/conceal brush

Recommended Posts

I recently posted about when to rasterize as i thought that might be my problem. Sometimes i don't get any response from the reveal/conceal brush. Or I use black to conceal & it paints black instead. I try it on each layer to make sure I have the right one but no improvement. What am I not doing? Thanks!

Hi @Paresh,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble!

It would help for me to understand this if I could see the steps you're taking - could you please upload a screen recording showing the issue you're having with this tool/brush?

Many thanks in advance :)

Thanks for confirming that! You'd likely be best using a Mask on this Pumpkin layer, as you can then paint within the mask to choose which part of the image to hide.

Please see the below link for more information on masks :) https://affinity.serif.com/tutorials/photo/desktop/video/332168517/
