walt.farrell Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 This applies to all the Affinity applications. I'm reporting it against Publisher as that's where I noticed it. The Styles panel seems to always be shown in RGB, even for documents that are in CMYK. With the default set of styles, that usually still seems to provide a reasonably close approximation of what you'll get when the style is assigned to an object. But sometimes it is very incorrect. For example, reasonably close (your opinion may differ): Bloodpool (RGB object, Style as shown in panel, CMYK object on right): or Plexi: And very wrong in CMYK: Gel: Retro Style Plain: The panel should be displayed in the document color space so it provides a more reasonable representation of the end result. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop 1: Windows 11 Pro 24H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
