Please select an RGB pixel layer before entering Develop

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I’ve spent a lot of time trying to sort this out on my HP laptop with Windows 10 and the previous advice on the forum doesn’t seem to work.

When I go to Document – Convert Format / ICC profile – Format I have 3 options RGB/8 or RGB/16 or RGB/32 (HDR).

Under profile the options are (with a few more):

None of the combinations seem to work.

What to do?

Thanks.

The message....

"Please select an RGB pixel layer before entering Develop"

Usually, just means you do not have a pixel layer selected (i.e. highlighted) in the Layers panel

Is this the case or are you trying to do something else?

If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
