Staff MEB Posted September 20, 2015 Staff Share Posted September 20, 2015 Hello ottopilgrim, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Check the Controller setting in the context toolbar for the Brush Tool. Is it set to None? If so, change it to Automatic or Pressure. Does this solve the issue or are you referring to another problem? ottopilgrim and PaulDean 2 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
bbd10
There are two issues here, brush controller settings is the most obvious reason why you have problem with the pressure when using brushes, but if you have used another tablet brand before then there can be conflict with drivers installed. Normally, thre is no problem with pressure recognition for even exotic tablets used with Affinity Designer but when you change hardware and install software over previous one, strange things can happen. It mens, that if you have installed any other kind of tablet previously, then you have to uninstall it's driver and supporting software completly. This can be little tricky, depending of the tablet brand you have used previously. The point is, that you can simply forgot about that old crappy tablet... Try to clean your system and reinstal Wacom software again. There is also another procedure which can help in case if you ar not using MacBook: restart system, shut down system, unplug power cord, wait 20 minutes, plug power cord again and restart system. This have sense only for only specific Mac's models.
