Used a trial key for Designer, uninstalled and reinstalled the program, and now I can't use the key.

Recommended Posts

I tried out the software with a trial key, after then I uninstalled it for a day. When I reinstalled it, it wouldn't accept my trial key anymore, it only let me have a 10 day trial. Is there a way to enable my full trial period again? Or am I stuck with a 10 day trial.

I'm using the same computer, with the same email.

I’m fairly sure that you are ‘stuck’ with the initial 10-day trial period.
Otherwise people could just keep uninstalling and re-installing forever without paying for the software.

I imagine that the OP expected the trial to continue where it left off, which seems a reasonable expectation.

I think that @IAmV0id will have to apply for the trial again, using a different email address, and download the software again.

now I'm wondering if this would apply to software I paid for. So if I uninstalled affinity photo, would I also be locked out too? Would the key continue working?

A purchased licence key would continue to work as it does not have any one time use restrictions.
