LaraJ
Are diagonal lines (inside table cells) and splitting cells in tables two options that are simply missing in Publisher? And if so, has anyone found a workaround this? Thanks!
Staff Callum Posted February 1, 2021 Staff Share Posted February 1, 2021 Hi LaraJ, Unfortunately its not possible to split cells at the moment. There is a workaround for this however its not easy to do if you are already half way through your table. You can read about it at the bottom of this thread. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
LaraJ
Thanks, @Callum. Yes, I know that I can separate cells, but this isn't very helpful when you realize you need to make two cells out of one in the middle of the table. I find myself starting the table again every time a design change like this is needed, and this is very time consuming. We designers don't have every detail figured out right from the get go, or at least I don't, so the feature to split cells, would be a really great addition. Fingers crossed the split cell feature will be added in the next update
Old Bruce
You may be able to use the Merge Cells instead. Insert a new row and put in the JOD thing then go to the previous cells (Short description...) and Merge them. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
