Dominique Prudhomm
Hi There. Maybe I'm the usual idiot but I after multiple trials, I cannot find the proper solution to this - quite simple IMO - I have a bitmap with nine figures. 123456789 I try to separate them properly preserving the vertical alignment, to get individual figures. Someone can tell me how to do it the easy way? Thanks for any help. PaulEC
Personally I would get rid oe the white background first (Filters - Colour - Erase white Paper) Then use the rectangular select tool to select each number, one at a time, then create a new layer (Ctrl+J) Do this for each one (not forgetting to make sure you are selecting on the original image!) Depending on what you want to do, it might be handy to save each number as an Asset, so that you can use them again whenever you want. Ray S.
Hi Dominique, turn on snapping (snap to grid), make the grid visible and adjust it to your needs, then select each number and cut and paste them to individual layers.
carl123
If you are using APhoto you can use the Export Persona and the Slice Tool to create individual slices for each letter Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
