Publisher crashes when exiting embedded file

I have this problem with my current document, where if I try to edit embedded objects (The layout is done with a notebook style, and I created templates for different colored sticky notes and for polaroid images), the entire program crashes.  I renamed the documents in the attachments so that any future google searches (It's a book) don't lead here with the WIP document. 

I first thought it was because I had too many embedded objects and that caused it to crash. However, you can see test 1, which has some of the embedded documents removed, and it has the same exact problem.

Then, I thought that maybe some specific embedded object is causing it when the window is changed back to the main document. I removed all the embedded documents except for the first one (which existed long before this problem started). Test 2 shows, the problem persists.

After that, I thought that maybe the file has too many objects in general. I removed half of my pages to test 3 (which is less pages than the doc had when the problem started AND the first embedded document), but the problem still persists.

Welcome to the forums. 

We are aware of a crash when closing linked tabs, but not embedded ones. Can you please try and see if the latest beta is any better?
