AKJ
I recently purchased the affinity photos software and have been trying to use it to edit RAW photos from my canon R5 - (In the interim, I have been having lots of fun with editing JPEG files!). On the Affinity website it says that the latest version of Affinity photos should be able to read Canon's new RAW format. I am currently using Affinity Photo version 1.8.6, but I am unable to extract "good" looking initial files. I understand raw pics straight out of camera usually need work but the work needed here seems a bit excessive. <As a disclaimer, I am new to working with RAW> Can anyone guide me on how to appropriately view the raw photos? I suspect it is something fairly trivial on my end as there are not a lot of topics on this specific issue Any assistance would be appreciated. I have attached a sample png of the rendering of the raw file once I drag and drop it into AF.

carl123
The 1.9 beta appears to open the file correctly You can download that now or wait a couple of weeks(?) as the 1.9 beta is currently in its final phase of testing before its official release Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
