Saving is not possible for resource

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have question regarding Saving for afphoto files used in Affinity Photo Workbook.

I have dowloaded some source files.

If I made some changes, I want to save it, but the posssibility "Save" or "Save as" are grey.

Is it the source somehow locked (for example the lumsdale_falls.afphoto).

@Vit Richter

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums :)

Many of the resources used in the workbook are licensed from the creators and locked deliberately, so unfortunately are not available to be saved because of the content they contain. You can pull their files aparet to see how they are made or you can create your own version from scratch

Can you write me, what does it mean "create own version from scratch" and how to do?

You should not need to Save any of the .afphoto files from the workbook in order to do the exercises there.

What are you doing that you need to save them?

follow the tutorials with new images/files to make something like the tutorial sample, but your own work.
