catlover
Probably a by design thing, but I stumbled upon it and I thought I'd mention it anyway, just in case. >Create object > Move pivot point >Copy object X-times >Select all. The pivot piont is back center point on the top object of the stack. It remains at the chosen spot when selecting one by one. This also happens in the MAS version 1.8.6. See attachment. If it is by design, no need to answer this post Pivot point.mov C.L.
Old Bruce
I would guess this is by design because several objects are not the same as one object. Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.0 | Affinity Photo 2.4.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Staff Sean P Posted January 27, 2021 Staff Share Posted January 27, 2021 Hi catlover, Old Bruce is correct, when you select multiple objects you're creating a multiple object selection which has its bounds defined by the objects in the selection. The origin is then based on the centre of this selection.
