strudle
Hi, I want something fairly simple but must allow me to 1 create a shape or picture 2 connect a picture to another picture with a line anywhere on the pictures (multiple connections are necessary) 3 allow me to drag any picture to another location with it's connections still staying attached. would I be able to do this in affinity designer ipad? Thanks

How do you move just one of the boards to another position, leaving the other one where it is and automatically lengthening or shortening the connecting wires as necessary to maintain the connections? Apparently you can. Maybe a flowcharting app could if it needs to be done on iPad? Or perhaps something like this where you can do it online? https://www.smartdraw.com/circuit-diagram/circuit-diagram-maker.htm Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Yes, it is, as @DM1 has demonstrated, although it only works for vector objects. If you have an image of a circuit board you need to convert it to curves (to give you a rectangle with a bitmap fill) and that fill gets messed up if you move the rectangle. strudle
thanks a lot guys. I think it's a bit cumbersome for what I want so I'll continue looking. I may buy designer anyway though for other stuff. A tenner is not a lot to pay. Maybe it will tempt me away from craft artist 2 on my PC!
