Priyantha
Hello Team, I created a 8.25"x10.75" size 30 page magazine with Affinity Publisher. I created this for Magclouds as a print on demand magazine. During the page setting I complied with Indesign instructions as provided by the Magclouds. Magclouds did not have Affinity Publisher specific instructions. However, I had an error message saying my magazine outside the bleed size and finally it became a landscape print instead portrait. Could someone help me with this issue. Anyone upload to Magclouds from Affinity Publisher (as a pdf) Much appreciate all your support. Thank you
brantome
I know this link is for blurb, but maybe Magclouds have the same issue: "The most common error we see is an incorrect inner bleed setting for pages. The inner bleed setting must be 0 points, which is different than the top, bottom, and outer bleeds. "https://support.blurb.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044955872-Affinity-Publisher-PDF-files Priyantha

Joachim_L
Is your Document Setup = Facing pages? If so, export as PDF and pick in the Area pulldown All Pages instead of All Spreads in the main export dialogue. brantome and Priyantha 2 Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed

Joachim_L
Looked at the instructions and there is nothing extraordinary in the requirements of MagCloud. You can do this also with APu. Could you upload a) the PDF you made and b) the APu document? If the files are too heavy you can shorten the documents and / or leave out the images. Joachim_L
And now a screenshot of the margins, but I guess everything is OK there. Did you checked "Include bleed" in the PDF export dialogue? If yes, I would like to see the PDF or a portion of it. Joachim_L
I think it was the missing bleed MagCloud was complaining about?!? Export - in "Area" pulldown you have to change to "All Pages" - and upload again to MagCloud to see if there is any change. Dazmondo77
From the above grabs it looks like Magcloud expects single pages - just try creating your pdf and selecting 'all pages' from the pages dropdown as if your document is setup as spreads it will default to 'all spreads' Also looks like all your pix don't butt upto the bleed guides so you may get white edges unless magcloud automates an increase in size to add bleed which may also cause items not to look on the page as you expect Screen_Grab_2021-01-28_at_12_26_14.mov Quote Mac Pro Cheese-grater (Early 2009) 2.93 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon 48 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC Ram, Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5, Ugee 19" Graphics Tablet Monitor Triple boot via OCLP 1.4.3 - Mac OS Monterey 12.7.3, Sonoma 14.1.1 and Mojave 10.14.6 Affinity Publisher, Designer and Photo 1.10.5 - 2.4.0 Betas 2.5.0(2430) www.bingercreative.co.uk
