When I try to defringe my image, or fix the chromatic aberration it does not work. This is very annoying as fringing looks bad, and for now I have been using a selective colour adjustment layer and desaturating the fringe colours that way.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

I find the defaults to be adequate but on occasion I will have some fringing which is extreme and I'll have to apply it a couple of times.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Thank you, so would you make multiple defringe adjustments then would that work? Also what do you mean by defaults?
