Compression profiles

Recommended Posts

Speaking as a technical illustrator I have two requests which are related.

1 A feature that allows a 'Compression profile', similar to 'Pressure profiles' that can be applied to a series of objects. See attached file. The Compression profile was used to change A into B. Great for drawing tyres!

I believe that a similar feature was used in Draw Plus but it was difficult to control.

2 A feature that allows all 8 bounding box handles to be independently moved for distortion purposes.

These two features used together would be great for creating realistic perspectives. eg When drawing a railway line or fence the Compression profile would be used to create the progressive foreshortening and using feature 2 to create the perspective effect.

If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed!

Rules are for the guidance of wise men and the obedience of fools.

To be ignorant of world happenings is forgivable - to be willingly ignorant is unforgivable.

Truth does not need to be protected only lies do.
