Save files in 1.8.6 for Mac

Recommended Posts

I suddenly am having problems with saving my files on my Macbook Pro (2014 Intel i5, 8GB RAM, Catalina).

When I save my work Affinity Publisher stops direct and makes a 0 kB file.

The same when i do 'save as' or 'export as Template'.  I tried to save to a memorystick, the same.

Does anyone recognise this kind of problems and what to do about it?

I found out that there seems to be something wrong with the file. I opened it on another macbook and a windows machine and there the same problem.

I can open the file, i can work on it, but i can't save or export it. When i save or export do, Affinity crashes and make a file of 0kB.

Is it possible that i fix something in the file, or do i have to start new and loose a few hours of work?

@Mothoek Can you DM me a download link for the file so I can take a look to see if it's something our developers need to look into. In the meantime have you tried exporting as PDF or PSD to see if it's possible. If not do you have a backup that you can revert to?
