PhilipC
Hi. I've been using Affinity Photo for a few months now and this afternoon noticed a problem when developing from a DNG file. If I adjust exposure and sharpen the image in the Develop Persona it looks sharp and clear, but after I've developed it, it looks soft and the colours change very slightly. I haven't noticed this before; is there a setting I may have accidentally changed with knowing, that may have caused this? Affinity photo version 1.8.5.703 I've attached screenshots of before and after development (but the difference between these two screenshots isn't as great as before I've compressed them for uploading). The zoom in comparison is 100%? Staff Dan C Posted January 21, 2021 Staff Share Posted January 21, 2021 Hi @PhilipC, Welcome to the forums Please see the below post where this has been covered previously - As Psenda has mentioned, you need to view the RAW file at 100% zoom for the exact display of how the RAW file will appear after being developed. I hope this helps! Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks! PhilipC
Thanks, Dan C, that's very helpful. I did search the FAQ, etc, before posting but can't have been using the best search terms! The mipmaps explanation was interesting. Philip Dan C
