Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @Photoshaz. :)

Flash is dead. What are you seeing that makes you wonder if you need Flash Player?

Please tell us which app you’re struggling to download, on what platform and from where (and in which browser, if applicable).

Hi thank you for replying I've just purchased Affinity Photo, i'm not great with computers I have windows 10 and my bit is 34 , I followed windows instructions to download a media tool and re launch windows but change the bit to 64 ..I did this but then it said no flash player found and wouldn't let me continue. i have since read Flash is no longer need and wondering if the info i followed was dated. If so how do I change the bit to 64?

If you're saying that you have a 32-bit version of Windows, then Affinity will not work. It requires a 64-bit version of Windows on an x64-based processor.

If you open your system settings, then click on System, then on About (at the bottom of the left column) you'll get a display like this:

If your system type does not show 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor then you cannot install Affinity. You will need to install a different version of Windows, or buy a new computer.

Hi Walt.

Rather OT, but aren't your Device ID and Product ID unique (and private) to you?  Hence, should they not be at least obscured in the screenshot you posted above?

You need to do a Windows upgrade.

A Google search for this set of terms should get you some good information:

how to upgrade windows 10 32-bit to 64-bit
