Menubar menus are aligned right-justified

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I just downloaded Windows build 1.8.5.703.    On my Win10 system, all the top menu-bar menus are aligned wrong (right-justified, rather than left-justified).  This isn't tragic, but it's very distracting.

  1. This is the latest version.
  2. It's reproducible
  3. This happens in all documents
  4. See attached screenshot for an example.  The "File" drop-down menu doesn't align with the left-edge, it aligns with the right-edge.   This is true for all menus along the top bar.    Also submenus.   OS Win 10 Version 20H2, Os Build 19042.746

Hi MEB,

Thanks for the quick replay, but I'm confused.  The link you provided is for Windows right-mouse-button  context menus.   But the example I showed is for left-mouse-button standard menus.

In addition, I don't have that options enabled.  Windows context menus open to the right on my machine.  See screenshot:

Hi @fabio.bs,

Welcome to the forums :)

Have you tried following the steps in the link MEB posted above? As he mentioned, this is controlled through a Windows setting!

Please Note: I am now out of the office until Tuesday 2nd April on annual leave.
