ButterBot
Hi, I just downloaded Windows build 1.8.5.703. On my Win10 system, all the top menu-bar menus are aligned wrong (right-justified, rather than left-justified). This isn't tragic, but it's very distracting. This is the latest version. It's reproducible This happens in all documents See attached screenshot for an example. The "File" drop-down menu doesn't align with the left-edge, it aligns with the right-edge. This is true for all menus along the top bar. Also submenus. OS Win 10 Version 20H2, Os Build 19042.

ButterBot
Hi MEB, Thanks for the quick replay, but I'm confused. The link you provided is for Windows right-mouse-button context menus. But the example I showed is for left-mouse-button standard menus. In addition, I don't have that options enabled. Windows context menus open to the right on my machine. See screenshot: Edited January 19, 2021 by ButterBot
ButterBot
Nevertheless, that does fix it. I'm still confused, but as long as it works... Thanks!
fabio.bs
I don't know if it is a bug or not but since I updated affinity photo to 1.9 the menu bar "filter" and "view" is opening to the other side. This happens only in affinity photo 1.9.
Staff Dan C Posted February 18, 2021 Staff Share Posted February 18, 2021 Hi @fabio.bs, Welcome to the forums Have you tried following the steps in the link MEB posted above? As he mentioned, this is controlled through a Windows setting! Quote Please Note: I am now out of the office until Tuesday 2nd April on annual leave. fabio.bs
Hey @Dan C, thanks! Yes, it solves the issue. I'm just curious because it happens only in filters and views in photo 1.9. This doesn't happen in other items from menu bar, windows or designer 1.9. Edited February 19, 2021 by fabio.bs
