Can we get the This Lorem Ipsum generator? Perhaps as an easter egg (pressing Option + Text > Insert Filler Text) if it's not proper over there in England — would the Queen fine you  :P ?

We do have some infrastructure in this area already. It's not on the Option key, though. I think we're more likely to add user-defined filler text than that particular form. It's not a priority at the moment.

An app like typinator, textexpander, etc. is great for this sort of thing. I use it for lorem ipsum text all the time as it's so much quicker than finding the menu item or remembering a key command.

 

I must use typinator dozens of times a day. I wouldn't be without it.
