Ray S.
I've drawn an illustration of a crocodile for no reason except too much time. 🙂 I'am working with Designer and Photo on a windows pc with a wacom tablet attached. The original photo was taken by vaun0815 at unsplash. GarryP, MEB, v_kyr and 4 others 6
Alfred
That’s an interesting reworking, Ray! Any particular reason for the change of eye colour? (I’ve attached a copy of the vaun0815 original for comparison.) John Rostron
@Ray S., Whilst we are quibbling, crocodiles can be distinguished from alligators by the presence of a notch in the side of the upper jaw which receives the large lower tooth. This can be seen in the original image, but it is not as clear as in many crocs. Before retiring, I was a lecturer in Animal Biology, and I still do part-time work for a children's book publisher looking out for such foibles. John  Actually no that is not true, you can distinguish a crocodile from an alligator by the fact that one will see you later and one will see you in a while. Ren De
Actually I was certain I was about to learn an esoteric jewel of biological knowledge - but it was even better... Â (still chuckling).
