That’s an interesting reworking, Ray! Any particular reason for the change of eye colour? (I’ve attached a copy of the vaun0815 original for comparison.)

Whilst we are quibbling, crocodiles can be distinguished from alligators by the presence of a notch in the side of the upper jaw which receives the large lower tooth. This can be seen in the original image, but it is not as clear as in many crocs.

Before retiring, I was a lecturer in Animal Biology, and I still do part-time work for a children's book publisher looking out for such foibles.

Actually no that is not true, you can distinguish a crocodile from an alligator by the fact that one will see you later and one will see you in a while.
