Ray S.
In the actual designer-beta it is not possible to assign the "worlds most important"-shortcut "D" to set primary/secondary colors to black and white. I've tried, of course, other keys but no one's working. Designer forget the shortcuts immediatly after closing the prefs. Am I the only one? I went to Keyboard Shortcuts, Designer Persona, Miscellaneous, and put D into the shortcut slot for Set Fill to Black & White. Closed the dialog, and the shortcut works. Closed and reopened Designer Beta and it still works. I'm puzzled that it doesn't work for you, but also that Ray seems to have said that he can't get any shortcut changes to "stick" after closing the dialog. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
Ray S.
@walt.farrell, are you sure in the designer-beta? It works for me in beta-photo, beta-publisher and in all retail-versions, but not in the designer beta.

Staff MEB Posted January 18, 2021 Staff Share Posted January 18, 2021 Hi @Ray S., Have you set the shortcut for both Designer and Pixel Personas? Maybe you set just for one of them and are trying to make it work on the other? All its working fine for me here. Do you have any app/utility that may bee interfering with the shortcuts?
