Thoth
My Section Manager (Windows version) does not open--nothing happens when I click on it. Has anyone ever encountered this problem?
GarryP
Welcome to the forums @Thoth Every document should have at least one section so the Section Manager should be available in every document. Do you mean that you cannot get the Section Manager dialog to open when you choose menu item “Document → Section Manager…”, or something else? Is the Section Manager menu item greyed-out or does it look ‘active’? If you have used multiple monitors at some point there may be a chance that the Section Manager dialog has moved off-screen. If that is the case then it might be difficult to get it back without some kind of application reset.
Thoth
Thank you so much! I had indeed used two monitors a week or two ago, and your guess was right on the mark. What a relief. Thanks again!!
GarryP
You’re welcome. Just out of interest – and it may be useful to anyone else reading this who encounters the same problem – how did you get the dialog back?
Thoth
I simply dragged it from monitor 2 (which is usually turned off, so I didn't notice before that the dialog box was there all along) to monitor 1.
GarryP
Ah, okay, thanks. I wonder what someone can do if they don't have access to another monitor at the time.

One way, in Windows – Select the programme in the task bar, hold the Windows Key and use the left or right arrow keys to move the window onto the other monitor. GarryP
Unless I have misunderstood your instructions they don’t work for me. All that happens is that the main application window moves around, not the Section Manager dialog.
PaulEC
Sorry, you're right! I'm afraid I didn't read carefully enough, I was thinking of having the main app window on another monitor, rather than one of the floating windows.
