DarkClown
I was trying to generate a micro-pattern. Therefor started with a document size of 2px x 2px. My brushsize was 1px, hardness 100% flow 100%. I was expecting a digital behaviour - turning a pixel black - or keeping it white. Instead the color of the pixel was variable depending where I positioned my mouse.I was even able to create "gray" pixels. Well to be precise - it is nearly impossible to create a black pixel because you will need to position the mouse excatly in the middle of the pixel, elsewise you get a certain transparency on the pixel - a guessing game one will loose in most of the cases. Bug or "by design"? Or am I doing something basically wrong that causes this effect? smadell
Use the Pixel Brush instead of the regular Paint Brush. DarkClown
True, but I was irritated by the paint brush behaviour with these settings... John Rostron
Photo does not have a black-and-white mode, which is why you ar getting greyscale pixels. What you could do is apply a Threshold filter to convert to black-and-white. A black-and-white mode has been requested several times but Serif seem to be reluctant to implement it. And now you also know about the correct tool to create the behavior you're looking for at those pixel sizes. 🙂
