Medical Officer Bones Posted January 18, 2021 Share Posted January 18, 2021 Serif would be taking a huge risk: the market is already saturated with excellent 2d and 3d animation software, including professional level free options such as OpenToonz/Tahoma2d. I'd rather have the Affinity developers speed up development of the existing apps, and improve those. Too many paper cuts and missing basic features, which are really mostly low hanging fruits compared to the effort of developing an entirely new 2d animation application. Everyone seems to want Serif to make their own version of everything! Keep focused, develop and grow. Spreading yourself to thin on new software like this, or getting into video, or all hosts of other requests people have had would only dilute the efforts. ObsSays Posted January 25, 2021 Author Share Posted January 25, 2021 I only suggested those app. I'm working on all sorts of 2d works and if Affinity can make it, it will help me a lot with my workflow.. Its not just I just want them to make each and every software out there for nothing, its because I need it and I love how optimized their apps are and serif is the right software developer for those...
