Passthrough PDF shows as blank rectangle

Recommended Posts

When I place a certain PDF into AD or AP as Passthrough it shows only a blank rectangle. I have to switch to "Interpret" to see the content. APu 1.9.0.887 gives me no problem with this file.

EDIT: I tried various PDF now and some are showing no content, some are showing every content, some are showing partial content. I cannot detect a pattern.

It happens when your PDF file has more than 1 Page.

Only 1 Page:

Unfortunately it doesn't exactly seem to be that - I've got a 120 page PDF that does seem to place OK! Though I do wonder if its now the way the pages are set to be viewed in the PDF.

523 Pages file does this to me:

  • Passthrough:

  • Interpret:

I would like to try with the file you are using, @Sean P

Best regards!

Sure! I have also noticed that after switching page, the pass-through does break and no longer pass through so I'll get that passed over.

Thanks. In my case, it broke after opening and behaved as the other ones.

Best regards!
