ktech
Hi All, New to affinity. What is the best app to use for making multi-pages company powerpoint style presentations as PDF? ie is It Designer or Publisher? Also is there a market place for presentation templates like you do in Canva? Edited January 11, 2021 by ktech
v_kyr
Hi and welcome, what's wrong with Powerpoint, Keynote, Impress ... etc. for such purposes? - Those usually offer the quickest turnaround way for creating such presentation material things. However, from the Affinity line for longer multipage PDF docs, Publisher would probably be better suited here, then using Artboards in Designer. Or a combination of both together. - Presentation templates, well most template stuff offered on the net here for such things is always more related to Microsoft & Adobe products, where some of those for Adobe products can more or less be reused, dependent on the file format the templates are offered then. Catshill
I use PowerPoint with graphics made in ADes and images adjusted in APho. APub is used by me exclusively for magazine layout.
ktech
Thanks all. I have been using Canva as they had good templates and relatively easy to use. But their free model is very limited now and their premium version is far too expensive. I purchased Affinity Designer and love it especially how it is connected the pixel bay etc Suggestion of drawing up the images in Designer the importing to Powerpoint might be the way to go.
