jtucker Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Another tool I use al the time is zoom to all objects. Your zoom to fit zooms to the whole document. Zoom to all objects is especially usefule when you have importes a fiel that has invisible or very tiny objects that are located far from the main content. Also, in my work flow, I am constantly re-sizing and composting objects. With zoom to all objects it is easy to resize the view to contain all the objects at maximum zoom that will show them.
Raskolnikov Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 In autocad it's called "zoom to extend" and it's quiet useful, AF could have the posibility with (for example) double click on the middle button / wheel ... of the mouse, for those who still work with mouse. :P ...double click on the Just a suggestion. Actually CMD + 0 (zoom to fit) make a zoom to the whole canvas but the elements out of it aren't shown.
Dave Harris Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 In Affinity you can use Cmd-A to Select All, and then Shift-Cmd-0 to Zoom to Selection.
Raskolnikov Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 That's right what I wanted, the thing would be been able to make all that with just a command or gesture... or whatever. (maybe double click on the zoom tool? or a keys combination?)
jtucker Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 In my work flow, I have that coded to a key on my 3d mouse (you can find them helpful in 2d apps also). I may be able to program thaat combe for a one button zoom to all objects. I use it really a lot. Raskolnikov 1
