Where do we file official bugs/problems etc. for help?

Recommended Posts

I have lost a complete document recently-corrupt- but I get it, it can happen- it was in the cloud, not on my device ( which sounds insane as I type this, that thats ok). Now I have lost all of my assets from my assets panel for the second time on my new ipadPro. This is unacceptable and is a huge waste of my time. This time it happened when I was trying to create a new one, it crashed the app and upon reopening, all of my assets categories were gone.

I would like to get some advice from. Affinity as to what to do next? Do they offer a support ticket or anything?

Thanks,

Jim

If you can repeat the problem then you can report the bug here:-

Being in the cloud should be no difference than on your iPad, which cloud service were you using as there has been problems in the past with dropbox, google drive etc in the past but iCloud generally has been ok.

If you uninstall the app then you would lose your projects work, assets etc, can you remember what you were doing to cause that to happen as it is not normal behaviour. Perhaps make a screen recording of it happening or if you have a corrupt file you can upload to the forums for the dev's to try and recover.

Hi Paul,

This is where I start getting grouchy. I hardly ever post bugs for any of my software, I'm not a beta tester, I paid for the product and I just want a support ticket to begin having conversations with the companies I buy my software from. I dont have time to try and duplicate the efforts that made it go bad. For instance, I can now access the one single asset category it did not delete, I can add them back in again now... takes a long time do do so. I just ran into this last month... So to make it happen again I have no idea and would prefer that a proper support system was in place. If Affinity would like to give the software for free then I would consider using my time to discover their bugs... Again sorry I am grouchy, I do appreciate your time in answering my complaint

Jim.
