Crashed when refining new mask layer selection

After using quick selection on an image and refine tool, the app was able to mask out the image with the same layer. However, after trying to change the option to “new layer with mask” or “new layer” the app crashed.

PS. Tested 3 times, all same results. iPad 8th Gen, running latest iPadOS and the AP version is 1.8.6

Kindly fix ASAP.

The same problem. I work with the same iPad model and generation, and also iOS 14.3.
